Our Service

Every Action Counts, so we re-use packaging whenever possible.
Delays may occur at any point such as our supply chain, deliveries, days off for shielding etc. If so, we will let you know and keep you informed of the status of your order. If we have a time we cannot pack and send, we will temporarily close the shop and again keep you informed of the timeline. We apologies but we cannot accept any returns or consider refunds unless we are dealing with a Royal Mail postal claim. We trust you are understanding of these measures – we are doing our best.

GOTS.

What is GOTS? Good question!
GOTS stands for Global Organic Textile Standard, which is an international recognised organic textile standard. The standard sets requirements across the processing, manufacturing, packaging, and distribution practices, for ecological benefit and to help protect labourers. To find out more visit www.global-standard.org​
Our fleece and labels:
Our suppliers for the organic fleece and labels are fully GOTS certified. To achieve this certification, they had to undergo onsite inspections and must renew the certification every year. We have really struggled to find British made organic fabric labels. Last year we ordered examples made in the US only to have a massive customs bill slapped on top which was more expensive than the samples. Ouch, burnt fingers! When we did, their minimum order is by the hundred! There are so many factors to think about for a micro-business who are making batches rather than mass-producing items.

Shipping.

​​Posting ,Packaging and Shipping

Orders can be created up until 1pm, as this gives us time to pack and despatch, same-day. Weekends will differ with despatch on Mondays.
We have a three tier shipping selection at the Checkout. International mail will vary slightly from UK mainland. We will aim to get this posted out the same day it is ordered. For some overseas deliveries please select and if necessary we will contact you to discuss mail options as tracked services are not always available. There is a local free collection point in and around Canterbury so please leave an email if that’s your choice. We re-use packaging where possible.

We are sorry but we cannot sell to Europe the USA or Canada at present – this is to do with the conditions of our business insurance and Brexit. We are looking at changing this, so will update when this happens.

Packaging
We’ve designed our packaging with the environment in mind. We reuse packaging when possible, use recyclable cardboard boxes or use plastic-free, recyclable envelopes and if available sturdy, reusable, luxury gift boxes which are fully recyclable but meant to be used long term! These come packaged within a further mailbox layer and sealed with plastic-free tape. Our inks are non-toxic and we use natural rubber stamps.
Our packaging is simple and fuss-free while remaining elegant and protective. 

Returns/Refunds.
At this time unfortunately we cannot accept any returns or give any refunds. You may select the Tracked 24 service from Royal Mail in the UK to ensure your gift is signed-for at the correct address.
